Small Stainless SCUBA Backplate
We make the most compact small flat backplate in the market which is designed for smaller divers. At just 7.5" wide and 12.375" tall it also makes an ideal basis for a travel BCD. Don't let the fact that it is flat dissuade you! With a properly fitted harness you will not be able tell it is flat.
Enlarged 2" harness slots allow for minor angle changes to fit most body types.
Bent bottom corners to prevent 'digging' at your side.
Our Single Tank Adapter Bolt kit will allow you to mount your STA, or ours with ease, and will not interfere with your comfort.

Our stainless steel Single Tank Adapter Bolt kit will allow you to mount your short STA with ease, and will not interfere with your comfort. The minimized flat head side of carriage bolt mounts toward the diver's back, while nut and washer assemblies are on the STA side. The flat surface sticks out no more than the looped harness at the shoulders.
Our Short stainless steel Single Tank Adapter is an ideal accessory for both our SMALL BACKPLATE and traditional bent plates. Comes with longer 3/8" bolt kit for bent plates only.
Vintage Doublehose SCUBA Backplate
Our flat Vintage Plate will allow you to use a modern air cell with open tank band slots AND any single piece 2" webbing*. Equipped with waist slots** for BOTH tall and short divers allowing for comfort and critical placement of the regulator can between the diver's shoulder blades. The bottom corners are slightly bent to stop digging at your side.
This plate can also be used for modern single hose diving.
Offered in 1/8" thick 5150 aluminum and weighing 1 lb 4 oz.
*we recommend a harness that is mild in stiffness to allow for ease of threading through the shoulder slots due to proximity of the regulator can to the top of the plate. Shoulder slots are designed such that the harness must be crossed for stability (left side shoulder slot for your right shoulder and right side shoulder slot for your left shoulder harness).
**we also recommend belt slides for the harness on the backside of the waist slots on the plate to secure the harness from movement and wear to the webbing. We do not offer harnesses and harness accessories at this time.
Tank Wedge Set
Our stainless steel Tank Wedge set is an ideal companion to our Vintage Plate to help secure and stabilize your tank (recommended however not necessary to use our plates). Compact and easily removed and stowed for travel. No bolts to secure as it uses the tank straps to keep their position. Conventional STA's are not recommended for our Vintage Plate
